This splint is used to support and immobilize the wrist in cases of arthritis, injury and following surgery.

Indications:
This splint is used to immobilize the wrist in cases of tendonitis, inflammation, and other degenerative diseases of the wrist. It can be used for daytime use for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and for rehabilitation after surgery.
How to use:
Place the wrist into the splint and, using gentle and careful pressure, adjust the splint. Once the wrist is in the proper position, it can be secured with the straps provided. Opening the straps allows for removal of the splint. Please seek and follow professional advise as the frequency of removal.
General Info:
The advise and assistance of a professionally competent person is advised for the first time use. The splints are not sterile; do not use on an open wound. Fine adjustment/readjustment can be made without removing the splint. To avoid injury from sharp metallic edged, the splints should never be cut. To increase wearing comfort, additional liners can be ordered separately. Basic version splints use cloth straps for comfort however, when full circular support is needed the forte version should be used. The forte version has straps which are manufactured from the same aluminum core as the splint.
